Leica II – my new system camera for special tasks
I got this camera from my friend Bill. This is a long and unbelievable story and one day I will write down the whole saga.

The Leica with a super fast 2.0 50mm.

The original lens is not adjusted yet and here it is on the collimator. It will be fine soon.

There is a viewfinder revolver where you can zoom to the right focal length independent from the lens.
This is the 35mm 3.5 calculated by Zeiss and improved by Russian engineers.

The rear lens is reaching into the body and needs to be handled carefully.

The collimation of the lens
The collimator tool
The distance between the M39 threat and the ground glas is 28.8 mm. Now I can simulate the situation between the lens and the film.

Now I can check the sharpness with another lens on the ground glas.
And it is now looking really sharp
